An annual report documentary for the KOICA Establishment of Sustainable Model Villages (ESMV) project — an international development initiative funded by South Korea, applying the “Saemaul Undong” (New Community Movement) model to reduce rural poverty in Uganda through improved incomes, farming methods, and community health. Produced in partnership with Good Neighbors.
An ongoing documentary and photography project tracking progress on the UGX 12.1 billion Busukuma sewage treatment facility in Nansana Municipality — a partnership between Uganda’s Ministry of Water and Environment and the Korean government, funded through the Korea ODA Grant Fund. Construction is carried out by Youngjin Construction Inc., under the supervision of a joint venture between Saman Corporation and Hong-Ik. Footage is being produced for the project’s annual report and ongoing progress tracking.

Foot Wine is Maynard Mulindwa’s award-winning debut feature film. It follows the story of a traditional Ugandan banana drink, historically made by pressing bananas underfoot, which comes to override the minds of those who drink it with deceptive and fatal consequences. The film was a standout at the 2022 Uganda Film Festival, earning 11 nominations and winning Best Director and Best Production Design. Ronnie Rains Bwire served as Gaffer and Assistant on the production.
